Pixar's Brave Hits the PC in 3D!
People are flocking to the theater to take in Pixar’s latest animated film, Brave, which we recommend seeing in 3D, of course. After seeing the movie you can relive the adventure by picking up the gorgeous Brave: The Video Game for PC.
The third-person action/adventure game lets you play the role of Princess Merida—Pixar’s first female lead character—as you follow her adventures in a family-friendly storyline based on the film. Engage in bow-and-arrow and sword combat and solve clever puzzles as you seek to break a magical curse and save the kingdom!
The game is 3D Vision compatible and looks absolutely stunning. However, a few tweaks are required to run it properly. Currently the NVIDIA graphics drivers incorrectly detect the game as Cossacks II (this is being updated and will be fixed in the next driver release). To run the game now in 3D, follow these instructions:
1. Browse to the game directory and change the filename "Engine.exe" to "bEngine.exe"
2. Open the file "ENGINE.INI" file and edit the following settings for your game resolution. The following example is given for a 1920x1080 in-game resolution.
a. ViewerWidth = 1920
b. PCViewerHeight = 1080
3. Launch the game by running "bEngine.exe"
